A Form INST-549 Printing Spec: PS-001 7160-0349 This instruction sheet is for the Gamber-Johnson Panasonic Toughbook CFH2 Vehicle Cradle. Gamber-Johnson Part Number: 7160-0349 *These instructions are for the cradle only. For instructions on features, set-up and operation of the Toughbook CFH2 computer, please refer to the manuals provided by Panasonic with the computer. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION for INSTALLERS Safety is dependent on the proper installation and servicing of this cradle. It is important to read and follow all instructions before installing this product. To properly install a Gamber-Johnson cradle you must have a good understanding of electrical procedures and systems, along with proficiency in the installation and service of electrical and/or computer equipment. There are no adjustments required at any time of the mechanical components within the cradle. Opening the cradle housing will void the product warranty. Push the top of computer back into the cradle until an audible "click" is heard and the computer is secured by the Latching Mechanism (FIG D). 3. (Optional) The Key Lock can now be used for security purposes. FIG. C FIG. D 3 of 4 Removing Computer From Docking Station 1. If docking station is locked, unlock using the key provided. 2. Grasp the computer handle and press the Actuator Button in and down with the palm of your hand. (FIG E). 3. Pull the computer towards you to remove from the cradle (FIG F). Actuator Button FIG.
