CUSTOMER CARBURETOR RESPONSIBILITIES ADJUSTMENT CONTINUED FUEL FILTER To comply with emission regulations, the carburetor mixture is pre-set at the factory and can not be adjusted The idle speed can be adjusted. The idle speed set screw ts located near the throttle cable on top of the carburetor. To adjust idle speed' • Loosen the Iocknuton the idle speed set screw• • Start the blower and move throttleto idle position • Adjustidle speed to desired speed. (Clockwiseto increase/counterclockwiseto decrease) • Shut offblower T=ghtenIocknut. Carburetor AdJusmmt Clean fuel filter once every season to ensure good fuel flow to the carburetor. This makes the engine run better. To clean: empty fuel tank, remove fuel tank, remove fuel valve from tank by unscrewing, flush filter in a mild soap and water solution and dry before reassembly. ENGINE CYLINDER COOLING FINS IMPORTANT: For best performance, keep d=rtfrom accumulatingaroundthe engine coolingfins. Clogged coohogfins cause the engine to run hotterand shortens its life Coolingfins may be cleaned usinga toothbrush or st(ffbristle brush. SPARK ARRESTOR 1. Remove screen SCREEN (If Installed) 2.
