The Xedi o Cutte r is a module o f the Xed io Sui te of appl icat ions . It all ows th e

HOW TO EXPORT THE LIST TO A PLAYLIST
To ex port the st orybo ar d to a p layl ist for use i n Pla yout Org aniz er, pro ceed as
follow s:
1.
Select To Play list fro m t he Des t fi eld.
2.
Select a user in the U ser fiel d.
3.
Enter a p layl ist name in t he Pla yli st f ield .
4.
Click the Send but ton on the p anel .
A confirm atio n messag e will be disp laye d to show a successfu l playl ist cre ation in
the d atab ase. Clic k OK .

To expo rt th e sto rybo ar d as a f ile f or tr ansf er and use with exte rnal pr ograms ,
procee d as fol lows :
1.
Select To File fro m th e D est f ield .
2.
Select a codec fro m th e Codec fiel d to enc ode th e cli ps.
3.
Enter a f ile name pref ix i n the Pref ix fiel d.
4.
Select th e Me rge opt ion to me rge the sto rybo ard clips in one sin gle out pu t
file othe rwise al l cl ips w il l be save d ea ch a s a sep arate fil e.
5.
Select th e Se l. Only op tion to outp ut only the select ed clip s i n th e l is t
otherw ise all clip s wi ll b e used to gene rate the out put.
6.
In the Path fi eld, en ter or select the di rect ory and its path wh ere to sav e th e
outpu t fi les.
7.
Click the Send but ton.
A prog ress bar wil l be di splaye d t o sh ow th e e nco ding progr ess and the es timate d
remain ing time .
After the enc odin g is com plete d, a lis t o f ge nera te d fil es w ill be d ispl ayed .
